[Well if he's not going to get in first, Leia is happy to do so. She drops his hand in favor of climbing in between the blankets and scooting over to the side she picked out.]
Of course. I'm sure it's big enough for both of us. Now, are you getting in?
[Casual or obviously not casual, Leia won't call him out on that, not at the moment. She doesn't want him to get defensive, not just because it'd ruin both of their moods, but also because it'd ruin Natsume's cake. No one wins when Han and Leia argue.]
It doesn't have to be a big deal. What you did for me and Luke last year was perfect.
[And what he's in the middle of doing for Natsume this year.]
[he snorts and rolls the rest of the way onto the bed, somehow managing to make it look more natural than goofy. once he's properly on the thing, though, he ignores his side in favor of scooting closer to leia. like, surely she won't object to a little touching? that should be assumed if they're going to share. he's not crowding her out or anything, but he is lying basically right next to her when they could easily manage a foot or so between them if they wanted. he drapes one of his arms across her stomach, testing the waters.]
[It's clear that Leia doesn't mind a little touching in the least. She expected Han to continue touching her in some way, and she's glad she wasn't proven wrong on this.
Leia shifts ever so slightly closer--since it's hard to get much closer than they already are--and places a lingering kiss on his lips. It's payback for his earlier kiss that she wasn't able to respond to before he marched off. And so, she pulls back from the kiss to settle herself against his shoulder, sighing contentedly once she's comfortable.]
[he leans into the kiss, feeling a bit like a smooth operator even though leia was the one that started it. he strokes her side, as that happens to be where his hand ended up, feeling a little bit thrilled and overall quite content with this arrangement. it's not quite...you know...what he probably imagined they would get up to the first time they shared a bed, but he'd rather slow roll it than end up banished to the couch or slapped or something.]
Nice, yeah. [and of course, despite the small thrill that comes with being in close contact with his girl, he is a little tired. tired enough to sleep, once he gets over the novelty of being curled up with her.] I think I could get used to it.
[His assessment manages to get a small soft laugh out of Leia, just because of how almost nonchalant it comes off. She doesn't bother to lift her head from where she's resting before speaking, since she's too comfortable where she currently is.]
I hope you're more sure than that. I don't plan on going anywhere else.
It's no more shocking than a scoundrel like you baking a cake. When did you pick this talent up?
[sure, he's done it before, and sure, he's insisted he knows how to cook before, but it's still surprising to see Han Solo of all people baking a cake.]
[he scoffs, an action that probably tickles the top of her head, mostly try and come off as more casual at that statement. it will never, ever, ever get old hearing her tell him she wants to stay with him forever.]
[in spite of his indignation, Leia just sounds absolutely amused by that assertion. Sure, he can follow instructions when he wants to, but it's that wanting to part that's always been the problem.]
I have a lot of experience that would disagree with that.
[the first idea is just preposterous. where would they find a chewie-sized hair net??]
You're bein' real cute.
[is his eye-rolling response as he takes the cake from the oven, and no, that does not in any way prove her teasing point. it is a perfectly nice-looking cake, not bakery quality or anything, but it's cake shaped and it smells good.]
It's still gotta cool down...this stuff takes forever.
[cake shaped and good smelling (and presumably good tasting) are all you really need, and Leia deems it more than passable as she inspects the results so far.]
It smells good.
[which is obvious, but well. No point in not saying it]
How long do we need to wait before we can frost it?
[That. Is a good question. And even more, making sure it's actually spelled correctly in another language, rather than in Aurebesh. Sure, they could write it in that anyway and Natsume could manage to read it somehow, but... it's probably better to see if they can't make it easier on him.
She furrows her brow, trying to work out how they would spell "Takashi." Even after a year or so, it's still hard to try and figure out how to write in a different language through the translator. Reading is one thing, but writing is another.]
Do you think he'd mind whether it's in Aurebesh or the alphabet used here?
[She isn't in the best of moods, so keeping herself busy is the best she can do. She makes some deliveries herself instead of sending her birds, and on her way she keeps Chandelure out to melt any ice she sees around. Elios truly went all out... not that she needs proof. She felt it herself.
Today she approaches the area after hearing some commotion but when gets there, someone has already have taken care of it. Someone that makes Bianca smile a little bit at least.]
[Leia turns from focusing on helping take care of the ice wall to face Bianca, greeting her with an assured sort of smile, and a nod to Chandelure, too. The situation here all taken care of, she has no problem at all with taking a short break to talk to her, or to talk and also work on melting the wall remnants together.]
It's best to help out where I can, when I'm able.
[So that's a yes. Besides, she was personally affected by all this, so she has personal reason to help remove Elios' effects if she can.]
Did you and... Chandelure just arrive?
[She sounds unsure and hesitant with the Pokemon name, but she thinks it's right. Hopefully it's right.]
[it's still different and new, being this openly affectionate with Han, even when it's just the two of them. It's still exciting and Leia simultaneously feels hyper aware of everything and also perfectly content and comfortable and relaxed lying this close with him. Everything from his arm around her to the way his breathing tickles the top of her head while lying like this feels perfect and right.]
I'm sure you'll adapt just fine.
[because even with the hyper aware newness of it all, Leia is pretty sure she's already used to this. But that said--]
But you'll tell me if anything bothers you, won't you?
