Here, between his attacking multiple people, threatening her and Bail, and constantly lapsing into behavior leaning toward the Vader she's met, he has done nothing to differentiate himself from the future he claims to want to avoid. To Leia, there's no difference between Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader other than the name he chooses to go by.
