She'll also have memories of her past time here, if that's worth mentioning here.
Personality:
Despite being raised as royalty, Leia bears very little resemblance to your stereotypical princess. Unafraid to get her own hands dirty, Leia has little regard for being seen as a princess, and would rather people see her for her ideas and personal achievements than her title. Leia not only became the youngest senator elected to the Imperial Senate, but also worked first covertly, and later overtly for the rebel alliance in their efforts against the Empire. The driving force behind both of those actions is Leia's passion for her beliefs and fighting for them. She believes strongly that the Empire is a detriment to the entire galaxy and is determined to do anything and everything she can help with taking them down, and she's more than willing to take a leadership role in fighting for these beliefs. When in a leadership capacity, Leia is very no-nonsense and down to business. She's skilled at bottling down her feelings and taking charge, such as when she quickly shifted into business-mode, for lack of a better description after arriving at the rebel base following both the destruction of her home planet Alderaan and being held captive on the Death Star. She was doubtlessly shaken by her experiences, but had convinced herself the time to deal with both of those events was later, as she had vital information and the rebellion needed her expertise.
Leia is brave, loyal, and selfless. She volunteered herself for delivering the Death Star plans safely to the rebellion, and made arrangements to ensure the plans reached the correct hands once her ship was taken over. Leia focuses on the rebellion and her contributions to it above all else, and also much prefers taking care of others over herself. Leia's loyalty to the rebellion is one of her most defining characteristics. Even under torture, she doesn't reveal rebel information, and even when her loyalty to her planet of Alderaan trumps her loyalty to the rebellion, she still refuses to give up fully accurate information. The rebellion is something she's fought for and thrown her entire self into, and if she had to sacrifice herself to ensure its continued existence, she would do so wholeheartedly. Bravery, meanwhile, is something that runs through all of Leia's actions throughout the entirety of the story. Leia deals with Darth Vader and Jabba the Hutt without flinching, and routinely talks back to Imperial Officers. Even when she's rightfully terrified inside, she puts up a brave facade and refuses to let others see through the cracks. In fact, one of the only times those cracks slip are when something she cares about is threatened. She has no issues with putting herself on the front lines several times throughout the story, and even takes over and leads on her own prison break. She's also very intelligent, thinking quickly on her feet to come up with ways out of bad situations. Even if her solutions sometimes wind up leading to other problems, they generally save her and others from more immediate impending doom.
Leia is very independent and much prefers being in command. You could consider it bossy, but Leia is a person who knows what she wants done, and what she believes is the best way to make that happen. She's not intimidated when addressing others, be it Darth Vader when her ship was taken over in IV, or briefing groups of rebel pilots on mission plans. Leia is the sort of person that commands attention and respect when she speaks, perhaps both because of her royal upbringing and her personality as a whole. Leia's passion for what she believes in is apparent when she speaks, and she's incredibly skilled at getting her point across. Additionally, while she's not super skilled when it comes to combat(compared to other characters, at least), she doesn't shy away from it; she takes initiative when chasing stormtroopers on speeders, she strangles Jabba with a chain and her bare hands, and takes out more than a few stormtroopers with blaster shots over the course of the series. One of the strongest vestiges of Leia's upbringing as a princess of Alderaan is her haughtiness and tendency to fall back into more diplomatic parlance when wanting to be taken seriously. The diplomatic parlance is something she tends to adapt mostly around the rebellion when she's speaking to higher-ups or in more official capacities, but her haughtiness is more apparent elsewhere. When taken prisoner aboard the Death Star, Leia openly looks down upon the Imperial officers, showing her disdain for them personally and their choices through both her language and mannerisms. Leia is sharp-tongued and outspoken even in the worst of situations for her, such as insulting and belittling Tarkin while on board the Death Star.
Leia is incredibly headstrong and full of that Skywalker-family stubbornness. While this is what lends her to throwing herself fully into whatever cause she's focused on, when combined with her habit of bottling herself up and focusing on other causes or people rather than herself, it's a bad combination. Not only does it lead to Leia having, at times, a poor sense of self-preservation--such as her refusal to evacuate Echo Base until the very last second, having to be literally dragged out of the crumbling base by Han--but it also leads to her refusing to talk about or even show her own personal feelings. While she will open up to those she trusts--not that she trusts too easily--Leia tends to put on a calm, focused face in public to both help her feel in control and because she's sure that's what others would rather see. From comforting Luke after the escape from the Death Star when, really, she was the one with the bigger issues then, to initially not reacting much when Han tells her he's leaving the rebellion, publicly expressing most emotion is something Leia just isn't comfortable with. The exception being when she's angry with someone. Because of how passionate she is, if Leia is well and truly upset with someone, she can't help but show that and is prone to certain types of emotional outbursts. This ranges from harmless teasing (Leia does not do well with being teased; she's both used to and expects to be taken seriously) causing her a momentary loss for words followed up shortly by a barrage of insults, not being listened to causing her to, once again, fall back to insults and speaking in a haughty princess-like cadence, to more serious situations. Showing her own vengeful streak, Leia nearly allows Chewbacca to strangle Lando to death as a result of his betrayal of her and Han at Bespin, because she's rightfully pissed at him for everything that occurred after they landed there. She can also be impulsive and easily flustered when pushed in the right way. She's not the type to back down from a challenge--for better or for worse--and has been in many a situation where she's been so flustered, caught off guard, and upset by that, that she's wound up reacting only with a barrage of childish insults and name calling.
All that said, overall Leia is a very charismatic, charming, and kind individual. She takes care of and is greatly concerned for others, whether it be when someone is injured or hurting due to a loss of their own, or when encountering someone new for the first time. Leia regularly takes care of Han and Luke throughout the series, and unlike the boys, is openly accepted by the Ewoks when she first encounters them, due partially to her kind treatment of them. While Leia might take some time opening up to and trusting others, that's not to say she's rude or dismissive of them by any means. Once she does open up and begin to trust someone, she's also protective of them and willing to put herself in danger to stand up for and protect them. Around those she trusts, she opens up more emotionally, as well. She's less of a stone princess and more of a normal person around them, so long as she's treated the way she prefers to be, which is anything but as a fragile princess.
Abilities: I'm just gonna link this if that's cool. Basically, Leia, like others in her family, is Force-sensitive, and has abilities and the potential for further abilities that come with that status. As of now, her abilities aren't really super strong, and she really only uses them to sense other people. Leia is also skilled when it comes to public speaking, resisting torture, and is a good shot with a blaster.
Alignment:
Thras: fear and bravery: Leia is nothing if not brave. From staring down imperial commanders and Darth Vader to willingly putting herself on the front lines in several dangerous missions, bravery and standing strong when she's rightfully afraid are some of her strongest defining traits. While she would fit well into other alignments, Thras best fits her personality.
