[ There's a glimmer of hope that comes to Luke's eyes when Leia mentions Master Jinn, the Jedi Master that was before their time and yet, with being here, he's become someone that the both of them have seemed to gravitate towards it seems; he's thankful for that.
He nods, knowing that he doesn't even need to say that he plans to talk to his father and that Leia will just know that he's bound to do such a thing. As much as he appreciates Leia not wanting to keep him from his father despite the concerns she more than likely has for his well-being when around the Jedi Knight, he can't not be involved in this with the both of them to some degree and while he's not so sure he can repair anything between his sister and his father, if he can somehow make life easier for the both of them... well.
Carefully, he picks the stuffed llama up from the bed and gives it a gentle squeeze before he holds it out to Leia with a half-hearted smile. ]
I came here to find out what this is and I still haven't figured it out yet, what with you having a lightsaber and all.
[Qui-Gon and Leia have had their rough patches. Many of them. But the both of them had gradually come to understand one another better, and Qui-Gon is now one of the people here she trusts most. Out of all the Jedi here, his views are ones she holds in high regard.
Taking the llama from Luke, Leia looks it over, smiling as she turns it around in her hands. It's a change of subject she's more than glad to have, not wanting to dwell on Anakin and anything at all tangentially related to him.]
You're lucky Han is out right now. I don't think he'd let you live it down if he found out you were sleeping with a stuffed animal.
[ Luke gives his sister a look that is clearly one telling her to please don't before he reaches for the llama and gives it another squeeze, but this time, a hard one that makes it exclaim don't be scared! which has Luke chuckle a little. ]
And I wasn't sleeping with it. [ Gosh, Leia. ] I found it at the foot of my bed this morning.
[All that look earns Luke is a mischievous smile from Leia in return. She probably won't actually tell Han, but the least she can do as payback for Luke laughing about the bear situation is let him sweat a bit about this.]
I know it's not from me.
[She wouldn't hesitate to admit it if it were from her, but at the same time, it reminds her--]
A few weeks ago, I found a laser pointer on the bedside table when I woke up, and I know for a fact neither Han nor I had one before then.
[ Sounds a little dangerous with Han around to have. ]
So is someone going around delivering gifts to people?
[ Isn't that a thing he had seen mentioned that was... over with now? Either way, he drops the little llama to Leia's lap, a bit of a smile on his face as he does so. ]
[To be fair it's mostly only dangerous when Han is around and awake at some stupid time in the morning. For now.
Leia picks the llama up once more after Luke drops it in her lap. It is cute, and it'd be a shame to let it go to waste, regardless of how it came into their possession.]
If you're sure you don't want him, I'd be glad to have it.
[Leia keeps the llama where it is, nodding in understanding of Luke's plans for the day. But before Luke can leave, Leia's gaze drops back to her lightsaber once more.]
If you want to look more closely at the saber, or even try using it, you're always welcome to, you know.
[Because while she doesn't want to give it away--it being more of a keepsake of her time here with Galen--Luke is one of a few people she trusts with it.]
[ There's... surprise? Yes, surprise that comes to Luke when Leia mentions that little tidbit regarding her lightsaber to him. Never mind that it's another reminder that his sister does, in fact, have a lightsaber of her own. But, it causes him to pause, to look back to the lightsaber in question before he looks to Leia once again. ]
[She shakes her head. She knows how to swing it in the most basic sense, and she's had her stance corrected by Kylo before and had a few lessons with Galen before he disappeared, but no significant training on actual lightsaber technique.]
I was thinking of having Master Jinn help me continue my training here since Master Yoda isn't here. [ Anymore. ] So, if you ever want to sit in on a training session sometime...
[And she's only half teasing with that. Because while she may not want to use the Force much at all herself, she's happy to see what Luke has learned to do with it.]
I'm not a Jedi, Luke. I have other ways to help the galaxy than through the Force.
[It's so about showing off. But she doesn't mind if he wants to show off, because Jedi things are important to Luke, and she likes when Luke is happy.]
That would be nice. Defensively is what I'm more concerned with.
Defensively then. [ He nods. ] For any wandering bears you might come across.
[ He makes sure to step a little away from Leia for that with a smile before he laughs some under his breath and begins to try and tame his tousled hair. ]
I think I'm more the expert on wandering bears here.
[She smiles again, shaking her head in some mix of amusement and exasperation at the mention of the bears. Leia's getting the feeling Luke isn't about to let her and Han live that down, even only hearing about it now.]
You should. I don't want to keep you from your plans for the day.

[ A nod as if to seal the deal, Luke smiles in return to Leia and glances off for a moment then. ]
Well, I shouldn't probably get changed since I'm not about to go back to bed and I have a delivery or two to make today anyways.

Not in depth, no.

[ He smiles a little to Leia. ]
I promise there won't be any bears.

So long as it's only lightsaber training, I don't mind it. Qui-Gon knows my thoughts on the rest already.

Hey, it's not about showing off.
[ There might be a slight pout to those lips before he shakes his head. ]
I just meant if you wanted to know how to use your lightsaber more defensively or offensively, I can maybe show you some stuff.

Not a show off by the way.
