[He really doesn't need to say anything to tell Leia that something is bothering him. Everything about his body language and him hovering around the doorway of the room tells her there's something he wants to say but can't quite figure out how to spit it out yet. Even when he's been good at keeping some things to himself, he's never been good, in Leia's opinion, at hiding when things are bothering him.]
He's at the docks, I'm sure.
[He's got a ship, and if there's one thing Han Solo loves doing, it's messing around with his ship.]
[ Well, there's nothing like the direct approach and Leia is sure one to always go with that. So? Luke just tries to brush it off with a bit of a smile. ]
Wrong? Who says there's anything wrong?
[ He knows she knows even as he goes to sit on her bed (a place where conversations seem to happen it seems) and sits there in silence for a long moment. ]
[oh she knows. She raises her eyebrows expectantly, waiting for Luke to start explaining whatever's bothering him. She doesn't want to push, but if something's truly causing him to worry this much, it's something she wants to know about and possibly help with if she can.]
[ He says that without an ounce of hesitation attached to it, looking to Leia and offering her a bit of a smile before he glances off across the room and decides to just, well, say it. ]
Are you disappointed that I... don't remember this place? [ That's when he looks to Leia again. ] That I'm not the same as I was before?
[She meets his smile at first, before it drops at his question, replaced with a more sympathetic, concerned look. It's a concern she can understand, in the sense that Luke had been here for a while before her before, and there's no doubt others here that knew Luke and didn't know he didn't remember his last time here.
If she were in his place, it's a worry she might have, too.]
Of course not.
[After all, no matter what, Luke is still Luke, and whether or not he recalls his earlier time here or anything from Bespin and Endor, he's still her brother and one of her best friends.]
[ No, no one has directly said anything to him, but he has eyes, is able to at times feel things and it doesn't take a genius to see a smile turn into a look of confusion or even a frown to realize that there might be some disappointment there. ]
It's more of a feeling than anything else.
[ A shrug, he looks back to Leia then, offering her a bit of a smile. ]
It's like they're excited to see me and then when they realize I don't remember them or this place, there's disappointment. Which... I guess I can't blame them.
Initial disappointment might be understandable, but whether or not you remember your past time here, you're still you. Anyone who cares about you should realize that, and be appreciative of the fact that they have another chance to spend time with you here.
[Luke not remembering some things does make things tricky even for Leia, because there's a lot that happened before that she isn't sure how or if she wants to bring up (hey there Kylo force choke), but she'd rather deal with hundreds of potentially awkward conversations than not have Luke around with her.]
[ There's a sigh that falls from Luke's lips, the young Skywalker glancing off across the room again with fingers clutching at the sheets of the bed. Because he's tried to see if he could remember his time here before, if maybe he just wasn't trying hard enough and yet... nothing. It's not his fault, he... gets that, maybe. He's trying to get that.
Another sigh, he looks to Leia again. ]
Just seems there's a lot of people who knew me and I apparently have a farm according to Ben? [ He means Obi-Wan. ] Is there anything else I should know?
[she wouldn’t bother if she could, because it’s Luke, but not even Leia can hide her confusion at that. Because rather than Obi-Wan, Leia assumes Ben means her Ben, not the Jedi flavored Ben. And she’s having a difficult time imagining how and why any conversations about farms may have come up between Luke and Kylo.]

It's just... I've been thinking about something.
